Ingredients
- 4 medium zucchinis
- 15 g unsalted butter (melted; or substitute with olive oil)
- Sea salt (to taste)
- Black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Zucchini Noodles:
- Use a spiralizer to make zucchini noodles. Cut off the ends of the zucchini, attach one end to the handle, and the other to the blade. Crank the handle to create zoodles.
- Pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Oven Cooking Method:
- Preheat the oven to 177°C (350°F). Grease a large baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
- Spread the zucchini noodles in a thin, even layer. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt and toss.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until al dente tender. For softer zoodles, cook a bit longer.
- Pat dry with a double layer of paper towels.
- Toss with melted butter or olive oil, black pepper, and more sea salt if needed.
Stovetop Cooking Method:
- Place zucchini noodles in a colander over the sink. Sprinkle with sea salt and toss. Let them drain for 20-30 minutes.
- Gently squeeze the zoodles over the sink to remove water. Rinse off excess salt and pat dry.
- Heat butter or olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add zoodles and stir fry for 3-4 minutes until al dente tender.
- Season with black pepper and additional sea salt if needed.
