Keto Sautéed Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients
- ½ head green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 15 ml olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 7 g unsalted butter (optional, for extra flavour)
- 7 ml balsamic vinegar (optional, for extra flavour)
- 5 g sea salt (to taste)
- 1 g black pepper (to taste)
Instructions

Prepare the Cabbage:
- Cut the cabbage into quarters and remove the core. Slice the cabbage thinly and separate into shreds.

Sauté the Garlic:
- Heat olive oil in a large (12-13 inch) pan with tall sides over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Cook the Cabbage:
- Add the shredded cabbage to the pan. If it doesn’t all fit, add in batches, letting it wilt slightly before adding more.
- Sauté for 10-15 minutes, stirring every 1-2 minutes to allow browning and caramelisation. Avoid constant stirring to ensure the cabbage browns properly.

Add Optional Ingredients:
- In the last minute or two of cooking, reduce heat to medium-low. Stir in butter until melted and/or balsamic vinegar for added flavour.

Season and Serve:
- Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm as a side dish.
