Ingredients
- 1 medium zucchini
- ½ large egg (beaten)
- 37.5 g grated parmesan cheese
- 1 g garlic powder (about ⅛ tsp)
- 1 g black pepper (optional, about ⅛ tsp)
Instructions

Preheat Oven:
- Preheat the oven to 218°C (425°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

Prepare Zucchini Sticks:
- Cut the zucchini lengthwise into quarters, then slice each quarter in half to make 16 sticks (approximately 10 cm long and 1 cm thick).
- If the zucchini sticks feel wet, pat them dry with paper towels.

Set Up Coating Stations:
- In one shallow bowl, place the beaten egg.
- In another shallow bowl, mix the parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Coat the Zucchini:
- Dip each zucchini stick in the egg, shake off excess, and then press into the parmesan mixture, coating all sides.
- Place the coated sticks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer without touching.

Bake the Fries:
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping the fries and rotating the pan halfway through, until they are golden brown.
- For extra crispiness, place under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until darker golden.
